Mohammad Jawed, MD, FACP

General Practitioner

Mohammad Jawed, MD, FACP has been serving the tri-county area of Corbin, KY since September 1997. He has devoted his life to medicine and taking care of his patients.


Dr. Jawed graduated with from Sindh Medical University in Karachi, Pakistan in 1988. Later, he completed both his internal medicine internship and residency at Mount Vernon Hospital (an affiliate of New York Medical College) in Mount Vernon, NY from 1994-1997.


Dr. Jawed is board certified in internal medicine and has been a fellow of the American College of Physicians since 2006.


Dr. Jawed has been recognized National Committee of Quality Assurance (NCQA) and American Diabetes Association (ADA) numerous times by the Diabetes Recognition Program for providing quality care of Diabetes Mellitus. Additionally, he has been recognized as a “Certified Hypertension Specialist” by the American Society of Hypertension. Over the last decade, Dr. Jawed has been awarded “Best of the Best Internal Medicine Doctor” in the Tri-County Area multiple times.


Currently, Dr. Jawed serves as the medical director of ContinueCare Hospital (CCH) at Baptist Health Corbin, which is a Long Term Acute Care facility (LTAC). Additionally, he works as the co-director of Inpatient Physical Rehabilitation at Baptist Health Corbin. He is also a consultant for the Kentucky Board of Medical Licensure (KBML), where he reviews doctors prescribing habits for controlled substances.


When Dr. Jawed is not working, he loves spending his free time with his family, especially his 3 daughters. When he is around his daughters, he tends to crack a lot of “dad jokes.” He also enjoys reading medical journals at home.

Devonna G. Maguet, APRN, FNP-C

Nurse Practitioner

Devonna has been with Bluegrass Medical Center since January 2014. She is from Corbin, KY, where she has resided most of her life. 

Devonna studied at University of Kentucky, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing in 1996. She went on to study at Eastern Kentucky University, earning a Master of Science degree in nursing in 2000. Devonna received her APRN board certification from the ANCC (American Nurses Credentialing Center) in 2000. Later, she studied at University of Kentucky, receiving her Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree in 2011/2012. 

Before working in Internal Medicine, she worked in the emergency room and on the medical/surgical floor.  She has practiced Internal Medicine for 20 years, with a focus on complex medical conditions.  She loves working in Internal Medicine and says she “couldn’t imagine doing anything else.”

Outside of the office, Devonna spends time with her husband Jason and her 17-year-old son, who wants to follow in his mother’s footsteps and pursue a career in the medical field. Her 5 fur babies are also a very important part of the family. She adores running with her dogs. However, her love for animals does not stop there! She also works with the animal shelter, where she serves as the president of the Knox/Whitley Humane Association.

Rebekah Cloud, APRN, FNP-C

Nurse Practitioner

Rebekah is Bluegrass Medical Center’s newest healthcare provider. She joined the practice in January 2020. She was raised in Evarts, KY, a small town within Harlan County. She has resided in the London/Corbin area for the last 18 years.  

Rebekah studied at Eastern Kentucky University, graduating with an associate degree in Nursing in 2005, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from EKU in 2012. Later, she studied at University of the Cumberlands, earning a Master of Science degree in nursing in 2019. Rebekah received her APRN board certification from the AANP (American Association of Nurse Practitioners) in 2019. 

She practiced nursing at Saint Joseph London for 15 years, where her specialties included Cardiothoracic Critical Care and Surgical recovery room. 


Outside of the office, Rebekah enjoys spending time with her family and traveling. She and her husband Jerry have three wonderful children. They all attend the Corbin schools and are very active in sports, keeping the family busy. Landen plays football, Layla does cheerleading, and Luke plays in numerous little league sports. Additionally, Rebekah loves traveling, especially to Disney World or going on a cruise.
